Our Reserve wines are sourced from the best vineyard lots for aging in our finest oak barrels. Our 2013 vintage Cabernet Sauvignon offers enticing scents of black currant, blueberry, lavender, black pepper, cocoa, molasses, and dried tobacco, with touches of cream and toast. On the palate, it’s rich and creamy with flavors of blackberry, cherry, dark chocolate, maple, vanilla, and spice. Pair with pepper steak, prime rib, and dark chocolate.
2013 was an excellent year for red grapes. The weather was much warmer than for the previous vintages, with above-average temperatures. The warm, dry conditions led to the grapes ripening fully and developing the excellent varietal flavors expected from Washington state. The fruit was sourced from some of the best vineyards of the vintage for Cabernet Sauvignon, including Dionysus and Fries.
